James Lake is a versatile orchestral trumpeter who also performs as a soloist, chamber musician and recording artist.

Jim's trumpet solos and orchestral playing were featured on Broadway,
in Lincoln Center Theater's production of WAR HORSE,
winner of 5 Tony Awards. 

Jim is a frequent trumpet soloist with One World Symphony, and has played principal trumpet in major concert halls throughout NYC and beyond. Jim has recorded on the Koch Classics and Newport Classics labels, and for television, radio and theater.

Jim plays trumpet in the Arcadia Brass Ensemble.

I am also in-demand as an organist, vocalist, arranger, and music director. As director, I lead "James Lake Music Services," in which I select & coordinate a wonderful collective of musicians - soloists & ensembles - for special events.
